ULGA
University of Lethbridge Academically Employed Graduate Student’s Union

The ULGA is the bargaining agent for academically employed graduate students (Teaching and Research Assistants) at the University of Lethbridge. In 2017, the legislation in Alberta changed to require the formation of a union to represent graduate workers. In 2018 the ULGA was approved by the Labour Relations Board of Alberta and the union representatives have been advocating for improved working conditions for graduate workers.
